I tide over the heat in the splash pool under the sprinklers. Today we got over our fear of water and how we enjoyed ourselves under the sprinklers. And the splash pool. Just didn't want to come out

After all this running, jumping and swimming we were sooooo hungry. We finished our tiffin in no time.

Happy Baisakhi and what a celebration at Mothercare School. Learnt about Punjab, the attire of Punjabis, wheat harvesting and all that can be made from wheat. Even Shobha ji could not be kept away from the fun.

Mothercare School kids plucking organically grown tomatoes in the school campus and making  yummylicious juice and soup and having it too. Children learnt so many new words while doing these healthy and tasty activities like, plucking, squashing, cutting, slicing, mixing, cooking etc. We are sure most of our children are perhaps the first in their families to ever get the joy of plucking fresh vegetables from a garden and that too grown organically also using them fresh and full of vitamins. We wish parents could see how much their kids enjoyed tomato juice.

Baisakhi continued. This is how rhyme, rhythm, music, movement are initiated with every festival being celebrated with an event and we gradually see the children becoming uninhibited, spontaneous and innovative with repeated and regular stimulus provided to each intelligence centre, each developmental area.
