The jungle book workshop with the Daycare kids at Mothercare. Handmade Masks, finger puppets by the kids. Jungle book movie, story, script, dramatization, music, songs, dance. The children at Mothercare have had a bonanza summer vacation.

At Mothercare Daycare we only eat mangoes from our orchard. Dussehri, Langada and Desi choosne  wala.  We pluck or pick them, wrap in paper for ripening and then eat them. We love mangoes , our school grown mangoes.

Summer Vacation yield of Daycare children at Mothercare School.

You name it and the Daycare children have painted it this summer of  2016 at Mothercare. Finger and thumb printing, bitter gourd, lady finger, potato printing, leaf, ear bud and blow painting.

Last day of school before summer vacation with hand made gifts for mamma for Mothers day.

Strawberries on my dress, yummy water melon circle in my hand. Sweet and juicy. Saw circle, crescent and semi circle carved out of one round water melon.

Red Colour being imbibed with Red Colour Day on Friday by wearing red clothes, sitting on red tables, bringing red fruits in our tiffins and seeing tasting and finishing water melon. Celebrating Sanghachadwam!

Wait! Not only that. We washed our hands with soap and water and for the first time in living memory learnt the joy of squeezing water melon all together and then making and drinking this cooling refreshing drink . We can teach mama how to make it now for us at home.

Crowning glory. In the final leg of our celebrations: Our aunties and us all dressed in red, gave our school mascots, our black Labrador dogs Jai and Veeru a bath. What a fun way, never to forget the colours Red and Black.
