Janamashthmi is being celebrated in school on 4th September Friday. Through poems, songs , stories and dramatization children are being made aware of the relationship between  mother/child, brothers, friends, neighbours and relatives. Understanding the Krishna Tatva makes them understand unconditional love in a very simple way.

The Jhanki, where each class is doing up their classroom with their favourite scene is an example of home school co-operation as you, the parents are fully involved with the teachers and children in making this a memorable learning experience for the child.

By next Wednesday please send approx. 250 gms of home made panjiri with the child for the prasada. Charnamrit will be made and provided by the school. Children will come dressed as characters from Krishna Leela or as suggested by the class teacher on the 4th. You, your friends and family are invited to see the jhanki  and have prasada after school at 11.30 am when school gives over on 4^th September.

Rakhee celebrations at Mothercare School, Lucknow. Children made rakhees with love and care. Rakhees were tied on trees, plants and animal cages with a promise to love them and care for them. Little ones also learnt to tie a knot. Toddlers and playgroup kids were on a rakhee tying binge.

Hot, crunchy from outside, soft within, dotted with til and sweet traditional Anarsas were had by the children instead of chocolates and sweets.

Rakshabandhan is being celebrated in school on the 28^th August Friday. This festival is being used as a tool to make our young ones understand the importance of LOVE, BELONGING, CARING, TAKING RESPONSIBILITY AND APPRECIATING , being GRATEFUL for all of these in our lives. Children are busy making RAKHEES in school. Please send a bunch of the cheapest rakhees with them tomorrow to tie on trees, plants, animal cages , their teachers and ayahs so that they learn to give what they are getting. Children will come in their home clothes. Happy RAKSHABANDHAN to all of you.

The Art of Living, Rudra Poojan to honour and appreciate the month of Savan celebrated at Mothercare School, Lucknow. Everybody soaked in the chantings and felt blessed to be a part of such a divine experience.

Haryali Teej with mehndi and Independence Day with marching ,flag hoisting and lots of patriotic songs sung by the children, celebrated at Mothercare school. Our ancient culture and patriotism , an integral part of learning for little ones. Don’t miss the tri colour headgears which children coloured with much enthusiasm.

The months of July, August and September is our ecology, environment, relationship, belonging and responsibility workshop time. On 31st July, Guru Purnima day, the months learning was celebrated with each class making a part of a huge rakhi, depicting what they are ready to love, care for, not harm in any way and be fully responsible for farm animals and pets, wild animals, no to plastics, healthy me and no no no to junk food.

if I don’t take responsibility for conserving water, for planting trees then my future is bleak like this barren earth with land slides and acid rains.

Nurture mother earth with preventing air pollution.

All the rakhis were sewn together to make this very huge rakhi in readiness for Raksha Bandhan declaring joint responsibility.

Singing plantation songs, chanting Sanskrit shlokas, picking neem tree seeds and saplings and learning to sow and transplant them.

31st July 2015 was celebrated as Environment Day at Mothercare School. Kids have been working on and talking about this from the past fortnight and will continue doing various activities till September.Save Mother Earth, save cows or no milk, curd, lassi, buttermilk, cheese, chocolate, ice cream, burfi.

Say no to plastics. Play group kids learning to make paper bags. They will then see that plastic is not used at home. Learning to feel responsible.

We belong, We care. These Farm animals I know and love and am responsible for by Sr. Play Group A kids.

Make the Earth green. Let mother Earth smile, let it breathe. Plant trees, grow fruits and vegetables.

Stay healthy eat wise. No junk food, no cokes, no pizzas, no burgers, no Maggi, no chips. This is the work and learning of Sr.Play group B kids.

Global warming, Air pollution, Breathing problems, diseases, acid rain. Do what you can. Prevent all this. No smoke, no gas emissions, use car pools and save fuel.

Nursery A children made ‘Save my Earth’. No plastic, recycle, use cloth and paper bags.

All these and many more pieces were sown together to make a huge Rakhi on 31st.

Starting early, our Toddlers learning to pick neem seeds, helping prepare the beds and sow them. They will watch them sprout, see the sapling grow under their care. Of course that will only happen when they water them, tend to them with love and responsibility. Mothercare School Neem Plant Bank is a gift from our children to the city of Lucknow. All this is part of our workshop on Environment and Ecology conducted in July, August and September with varied kinds of associated activities.
