Activity Schedule: January to March 2016
Sports day: 14th February. Sunday: yoga/drill/races/hurdles/balancing
20 per class to be practiced.
Handwork: class rooms to be done up by children’s handwork , based on appropriate stories on a continuous basis. Week’s work to be put up on every Saturday for combined review by all of us. Office boards to be ready by 16th Saturday
Flower arrangement: 5th February. Friday. Children should know all the names of flowers in bloom in the garden. Start showing them arrangements right from now. Kids start getting flowers and trying out arrangements
English and Hindi elocution: 3 phase contest. List out 20 poems each and put up on class board and office board.
January: 25th to 29th February: 15th to 20th March: 7th to 11th
Drawing contest: January: 18th to 23rd February: 1st to 5th March: 1st to 5th
A lot of exposure to free hand drawing to be given. Make children draw events, stories, poems, festivals, myself, my mom, my family, my home, school, favourite things etc.
Evaluation: last week February orals
First week March: writtens
Report cards: 18th March Friday
School closed from 21st to 25th March for Holi and session change over. Parents have to buy the books for new session before school reopens for new session on 28th MARCH.
