This takes us back to the days of Doordarshan Monopoly " Ek Chidiya Anek Chidiya". How the children enjoyed it and also understood the importance of being united.

A play with lots of animal songs and dances put up by our little toddlers and Play Group A children aged 18 months to 3 years. Besides rhyme, rhythm, music and movement they learnt about the value of friendship and belonging.

Their first ever encounter with Santa Claus. Gifts from Santa, anticipation and patience being tested.

Vikram Seth’s inimitable style and brilliance with words provided the appropriate stimulus for our children to ignite in them a love for the English language.

Hare and the Tortoise from Beastly Tales by Vikram Seth was enacted by the LKG and Mixed Age Group Children.

Alice says," Healthy body in a healthy Mind" inspired by The story, movie Alice in Wonderland, the children of Nursery A, B and C understood what can happen if you live on junk food and how and what healthy food can lead to good health and behaviour in no uncertain terms.

Ek  Chidiya Anek Chidiya from the good old Doordarshan monopoly days was interpreted and enacted by the Toddlers and Play Group A children of Mothercare School in their own inimitable way, learning their first lesson about the advantage of Unity.

“THANKS” that’s the word most befitting for the occasion.

First of all, I would like to thank the Principal of Mothercare School, “ Mrs Shobha Dev”, for organizing such a lovely and entertaining event and getting it conducted expertly, keeping in mind the punctuality and the comfort of the parents as well as the children.

We, as parents, could see the amount of efforts that were put in by the whole Mothercare family. The stage that was set up was so vivid and vibrant, the props were very innovative and all that contributed to a spectacular performance.

I would especially like to give a vote of thanks to my daughters class teacher, Gurpreet ma’am for her efforts and patience and for taking such good care of the children.

Harshika had been to school for just a few days and was not keeping too well but to our surprise we saw her performing on stage like a veteran. We are so happy to see her boost in confidence and the spirit of performing in a group. Last but not the least, we as parents would also like to thank each and every person of the team who contributed and their efforts to make the event a success.
