It was a wonderful interactive session with the parents. The issues regarding the kids being faced at home or in school being discussed openly, knowing that the best for the child is the common interest. A very open hearted productive session.
Its Springtime when I really start recognising the flowers growing in my school garden. The flower Arrangement Day completes this process for me. How I loose myself in the flowers, greens that mama gives me. But my ma’am wants me to play and have fun with them. She opens and lays them out for me on the table. I pick and choose and slowly watch my arrangement growing in the vase slowly but exactly the way I want it.
With the yellow kites and flowers, kids and teachers, staff, all in yellow , one could feel that Basant had truly dawned on the Mothercare school premises. Even the kids could feel the grace showering over them and with hands folded, eyes closed said their thanks and sought the blessings from Saraswati Maa.
This is how we learn. Each of us kids came dressed from different states. So did our ma’am’s. We marched, we were part of the flag hoisting, we sang many many “Desh Bhakti” songs, the national anthem and understood why we celebrate Republic Day.
